Hello! I am an LPC-Intern currently getting my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Christian University. Throughout my graduate program, I have been grateful to acquire a solid foundation in counseling theories, ethical practices, client-focused modalities, and therapeutic interventions. My coursework in Crisis Intervention, Group Therapy, Marriage and Family Counseling, and Multicultural Counseling has provided me with the theoretical knowledge needed to work with diverse populations.

I have gained hands-on clinical experiences during my practicum at Cypress Creek Hospital. I’ve worked with clients facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, trauma, schizophrenia, and PTSD. While facilitating therapy sessions, I have gained experience in creating treatment plans and delivering evidence-based interventions under the supervision of licensed professionals.

My therapeutic style centers around the client and their individual goals and needs; I am eclectic! My preferred modalities are Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Experiential Therapy, however, I will tailor the sessions to find the best fit for the client. My passion is helping people realize the most authentic version of themselves.

When I’m not working, you can find me curled up with a good book or cup of tea, sewing, crafting, walking my dog, giggling with friends, or writing my latest paper for school. I look forward to walking alongside you as we embark on this new journey together.
