Beth has a passion for working with adults and adolescents as they navigate their journey through life. Everyone has a unique story of defining moments made up of joy, trauma, grief, etc. She uses a combination of counseling approaches and has extensive experience in the areas of grief, trauma, depression and anxiety. Beth has worked in public education for more than 25 years, the majority of which as a school counselor. After getting a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Superior she and her family moved back to the Houston area where she taught elementary students. Beth realized she wanted to work more directly with students’ social and emotional well-being which led her to receiving a Masters in Educational Counseling from Sam Houston State University. She became a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in 2012. Beth believes a person may find their own solutions as they are guided through the therapeutic process.
